Senior Work Placement Week

Lornshill Academy is seeking local employers and industry partners across all sectors to host S5 pupils for meaningful, short-term work placements in June, following study leave.

Work placements give pupils the opportunity to gain real-world experience, develop employability skills and build a better understanding of the workplace. Employers can support through a structured week or recurring block of work experience, workplace tasters and shadowing, or project-based placements.

Target Audience: S5 pupils (ages 16–17)
Sectors: All sectors welcome
Dates: June, following study leave
Location: Employer workplace / business premises
